[ Special Update ] [10 Oct 2003|08:54am]
Mawari has been reopened and moved to here with a new name and format. This journal will now just work as a comment journal. If you happen to download from the new site and have a problem/want to say something, then instead of emailing me you can leave a message here (unless you really want to email for some reason, that's okay too).

Really important announcement [28 Sep 2003|07:54pm]

I'm closing mawari. I know I promised you all B'z's new album, and I'm really sorry.

The thing is, not only was I never too interested in it in the first place (hence the lack of updates for months at a time), but now, apparently, after having my new domain account set up less than a week ago, I am out of bandwidth.

I had several GB of space allocated to download each month, and it is insane that in this little amount of time we are already without bandwidth. Both "Utagoe" and I share the same host, and seeing as how we are both bordering on 400 people on our friends list, it is just too much. And this isn't even including anonymous people who download.

The thing is, I had no idea either of us were this popular to reach that much bandwith taken up in such a miniscule amount of time. If you check the rules, you'll notice that both of our journals state ask that you please comment when you download. No you don't HAVE too, but this is what happens when you don't. Utagoe and I both keep close tabs on how many people download from us through our comments. I always speculated that maybe 10-20 people downloaded from me and didn't comment, and 30-40 people downloaded from her and didn't comment. Apparently, these numbers were totally off.

I'll admit, I forget to comment from time to time on media journals, but the fact is, everyone has by far been given enough time to get it right at least once with as many posts as we have made.

I'm not really pointing fingers or trying to blame anybody, but just simply state that sometimes the rules are really not meant to be broken.

Thank you for your time.
